Who I Am

My purpose has always been to help people stretch and grow into their potential so when I discovered the joy and positive impacts of coaching, I knew I’d landed in the right work.  I highly value the unique and creative relationship firmly grounded in mutual respect that is created in coaching where people can be authentic, challenged and inspired to maximize their potential. My mission is to bring value to people in their work and help them be better leaders.

With over 35 years of educational leadership and human resources experience, I have experienced the benefits of committing to a relentless focus on building relationships that support and bring out the best in people to help them make a positive difference in their work. 

I understand the opportunities and challenges of leading from the middle and have witnessed the powerful impact of coaching through challenging, unfamiliar and uncertain times. I have experienced the lasting impact and influence we have when we empower others to be their best selves.

JOANNE BERGOS - B.Ed. M.Ed. CEC, ACC, PCC

I hold a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alberta and a Graduate Certificate of Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University. I am also proud to be a member of the International Coaching Federation and hold a designation as Associate Certified Coach and Professional Certified Coach.

When I’m not working with people, I’m playing with my awesome grandson, puttering in the yard, travelling with my husband, and walking the trails.
